Sean Gormally, BSc (Hons) Podiatry
Qualification & Education
Sean is a fully qualified Podiatrist with current membership of the SCPI (Society of Chiropodists and Podiatrists of Ireland). Sean received his Bsc Hons degree in podiatry from the Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh where he received experience in biomechanics, routine podiatry, diabetic care and nail surgery and computer aided gait analysis.
Sean is committed to Continuous Professional Development and frequently attends post graduate lectures and courses to further his professional development. He is passionate about his profession and works well with all routine footcare conditions (treating corns/callous/verruca/fungal nails/ingrown toenails) as well as with patients who require orthotics both temporarily and permanently and finds the area of biomechanics fascinating.
Sean enjoys all aspects of podiatry, but has a particular interest in biomechanics and palliative care.
"Sean saw me in June and I had been having gout on and off for 4 years and it was severely affecting my health. He did a foot scan and advised that the areas that I was getting the gout was where I had flat feet and that orthotics might help. Since I started wearing the orthotics in July I haven't had one episode of Gout and I genuinely feel like I've got my life back! Would definitely recommend Sean's services!"
